Knitwear is photographed at its best — steamed, pinned at the back, worn by someone the sample was cut for. What arrives has none of that, and the difference between a relaxed knit and a shapeless one is a couple of centimetres nobody states.
What a try-on actually shows you

What it will not tell you: Weight, warmth and how far a knit stretches with wear are outside anything an image can tell you.
